Bec Weiss-Horowitz is the Operations Administrator-Partnerships and Finance. Working under the Director of Community Partnerships and the Director of Finance, Bec will provide reliable operations services, support Melton’s network of partners and maintain effective delivery of all services. Prior to working at Melton, Bec spent several years immersed in the academic world, where they gained their BA in English and Creative Writing from Brandeis University and their MA in Medieval Studies from Fordham University. During this time, Bec honed their organizational and communications skills and co-founded a non-profit organization called WritingSurvival, which is dedicated to navigating mental health through creativity and community. In years previous, Bec has also served in a number of administrative roles, doing everything from script-reading to payroll management.
