Susan serves on various local and national boards including the Jewish Federations of North America, the International Board of the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning and Hadar. Susan is past chair of the Intermediate trustees of JFNA.

Locally Susan is immediate past Chair of the Jewish Endowment Foundation of Western MA. and is past president and past Campaign Chair of the Jewish Federation of Western MA. Susan serves as Vice President of Temple Beth El where she chairs the architecture and design com-mittee as well as the sanctuary renovation Committee. She is a board member of Heritage Academy Jewish Community Day School of which her children are graduates. She is a past member of the UJA Young Leadership Cabinet and is a recipient of the Philip E Saks Young Leadership Award. as well as the Israel Bonds 70th Anniversary Award.

Susan is the former President of Plastic Packaging Corp. She holds B.S. degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

She is married to William Firestone and they have adult twin daughters.
