Ruth began studying with Melton in the mid 1990s and has continued being involved with Melton ever since. She has participated in multiple travel seminars, both In Israel and beyond, and has worked both on the Travel Committee and the By-Laws Committee.
Ruth is a retired judge and served on the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County from 1986 through 2011. She currently performs private mediation as well as settlement conferences for the Superior Court part time.
She has been involved in the Jewish community for many years by serving on the Board of Directors for her synagogue, by serving on the adult Board of BBYO, by organizing programs for Hadassah and by being involved in Na’amat.
Ruth and her husband, Brooks, also a Melton learner, are the parents of two daughters and the proud grandparents of two grandchildren.
