Ann’s Melton journey began in 2001 when she moved to Kansas and was looking to expand her Jewish knowledge and experience. She was immediately hooked on classes and travel.  Ann has worked in the Jewish world for over 25 years at two different JCCs in two different states, Illinois and Kansas. When her firstborn was getting ready to start her Jewish education, Ann and two other women  created a Jewish preschool at the Jewish Reconstructionist congregation in Evanston, IL.  She is proud to say that this preschool is still going strong.  Judaism had been in her soul as she can trace her family back to before the Spanish Inquisition. Ann is currently a member of the development committee and chairs the donor appreciation sub-committee. Ann coaches and teaches swimming at all levels, and calls this her retirement plan. She is blessed as both her children live in the Kansas city area.
