As many of you embark upon a new year of Melton teaching, I want to take this opportunity to remind you about the Student Handbooks…please take a few minutes and watch this encore performance!
Also, as you know, roadmaps are an integral part of Melton teaching. These are tools you produce to outline for your learners where you are starting and where you hope to go during your lesson.
We do not create roadmaps, you do. And this is because they reflect your own decisions as to how you plan to teach your lesson. That said, Melton has always engendered a culture of sharing among our faculty and directors, and so I turn to you at this time and ask you to please submit your roadmaps as you produce them. In particular, we would love some roadmaps for our more recent courses, Jewish Mysticism, From Sinai to Seinfeld, and The Star and the Crescent.
We thank you in advance for your time and generosity! If you are still unclear about roadmaps, their content, their value and purpose, feel free to drop me an email and I will be happy to review with you their great value and import. You must create roadmaps for your teaching!
