Prof. Dan Porat is the Unterberg Chair in Jewish Social and Educational History at the Seymour Fox School of Education, The Hebrew University. He received his doctorate from Stanford University. His research focuses on the history of education as well as on the memory of trauma, especially the Holocaust.
